Enterprise ICT Specialists Ordyss Joins First Focus

First Focus has acquired Queensland’s premium enterprise MSP Ordyss.

UPDATE: After careful consideration, Ordyss has combined its marketing efforts with First Focus. This move combines crucial branding elements such as social media and website details for a more streamlined, team-focused brand, while extending enterprise-focused offerings to all First Focus clients.

Specialising in government, non-profit, and enterprise organisations, Ordyss delivers custom service desk solutions as well as strategic ICT consulting and recruitment services.

The acquisition lets First Focus offer these services to a nation-wide market, while Ordyss clients will be able to access new investments in automation and business intelligence, providing a tangible benefit to the users supported by both businesses.

First Focus CEO Ross Sardi explained: “Bringing the Ordyss team and services into the First Focus family lets us offer more customised support solutions and a deeper level of consulting, especially in the government and not-for-profit sectors.”

“It also allows us to expand Ordyss’ reach to become a truly national organisation, with a presence across every Australian state and New Zealand.”

Ordyss founder Keith Lavelle said the two organisations share the same commitment to excellence and displayed an “obvious alignment in values and character”.

Like Ordyss, First Focus offers solutions free from vendor bias, no contract lock-ins and no sales reps, focusing instead on building world-class solutions and long-lasting outcomes-based relationships with clients,” explained Lavelle.

“After 15 years working tirelessly to build the Ordyss brand of service our clients have come to know and trust, it is with a profound sense of pride that I see Ordyss join with First Focus and continue to offer our clients the same unrivalled commitment to superior service and solutions.”

This acquisition extends First Focus’ talent pool to 220 professional IT specialists.
