In March 2022, Microsoft simplified and reduced the licence cost of adding phone capabilities to Microsoft Teams. The Teams Phone System add-on to Microsoft 365 and Teams Essentials has replaced the previous Business Voice option. Teams Phone Standard licences give you all Teams Phone System capabilities like cloud voicemail, caller ID, call park, call forwarding, auto attendants, call queues, call transfer, and caller ID.
