First Focus Joins CRN Fast50

CRN has selected first Focus as one of the top 50 fastest-growing businesses in Australia for 2021.

UPDATE (23/11/2021):

First Focus has been awarded the CRN Fast50 Icon Award.

This award is presented at the discretion of the CRN news team, with entry decided by CRN staff and voted on by other Fast50 winners.

First Focus CEO Ross Sardi says that the award recognises and celebrates not just quick growth, but also long-term success.

Sardi stated:” Right from the beginning we set out to make a real impact on the people and businesses we’re helping – using technology to improve the way they work, the way they interact with their customers, and the way they’re achieving their own goals.”

It’s such an honour to be recognised by our industry peers for an award that celebrates long-term success.

“We also want to make a difference within our own industry, and our increasing focus on environmental initiatives, diversity within the IT sector, charity partners and sharing our knowledge via IT and executive peer groups is about being part of a broader community – one that I very much enjoy being a part of!”

First Focus placed 28 on the list of prestigious Australian IT companies that have demonstrated exceptional year-on-year growth.

The CRN Fast50 celebrates the fastest-growing companies in the Australian IT channel, with the rankings based purely on the increase in annual revenue as a percentage.

First Focus CEO Ross Sardi said that the win was only possible due to the input and dedication from staff and clients alike, explaining that the organisation had experienced rapid growth in recent years.

Sardi states: “It’s great to be back in the Fast50 after a huge year that combined both organic and acquisitive growth.”

“I joined First Focus just after our first appearance in the Fast50 back in 2013 when we were an organisation of 45 staff, mostly in our Sydney head office. It’s been a massive journey since then to grow to over 260 staff across five countries and to help hundreds of clients achieve goals and solve problems using technology.”

Thanks again to our clients and our staff who have made this possible!

Sardi went on to say that the journey to sustained business growth was the result of careful planning.

“Sustained rapid growth is both exciting and challenging. Continually developing our people, processes and technology over the years has enabled us to bring huge long-term benefits to our clients and our staff. Not everything goes smoothly though, having the courage to continually try new things knowing that sometimes they won’t work as expected is a really important part of our culture.”

I want to keep that spirit of not accepting the status quo front of mind as we continue our growth journey.

Previously, First Focus was listed in the Top Ten Places to work in Australia by WRK+ and has also achieved ISO certification across three areas – quality management, information security management, and environmental management.
