First Focus expands SharePoint training services

First Focus expands SharePoint training services

First Focus is pleased to announce its expanded training services for the popular Microsoft content management system, SharePoint.

While SharePoint has been around since 2001, it is commonly underutilised, and is often thought of as little more than a document storage or file management system. While this may be enough for some organisations, the truth is that SharePoint is highly versatile and can be configured any number of ways.

To help overcome these issues, we’ve brought Mia Tait on board to give our clients the opportunity to take a deep dive into their daily requirements and uncover new ways to utilise SharePoint that speed up access and streamline common workflows.

Mia has been working with Sharepoint since 2014. She offers years of experience helping non-technical clients get to grips with embedding SharePoint in daily operations to automate and improve every element of their business.

Mia says: “SharePoint can be so much more than content storage. It gets treated like a digital filing cabinet, and organisations that are content to leave it at that are leaving money on the table.”

With the right setup, SharePoint can go from a file sharing platform to a system-wide collaboration tool that automates common workflows.

In particular, SharePoint links well with a huge range of other popular business apps and programs. While this may seem obvious – it is a Microsoft application after all – SharePoint can be used to help automate a wide range of functions in the Microsoft 365 suite.

The issue largely stems from two key areas:

  1. A misunderstanding of what SharePoint is capable of
  2. A lack of embedding SharePoint into daily organisational workflows

With the expansion into training services, First Focus can now help organisations understand how to leverage SharePoint to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency by overcoming these two barriers.

The service includes personal consultation, technical customisation, and even in-person training to help organisations maximise the results obtainable through their investment in SharePoint and other Microsoft systems.

The training service can help organisations understand what they’re currently using SharePoint for, while developing customised use-case reports that help enhance your existing workflows.
